What this site collects,
in plain English.

What is collected

  • Consult requests. When you submit the contact form, the site records the name, email, phone number, and message you provide, so the firm can respond.
  • Newsletter subscriptions. When you subscribe to The Oaktree Letter, the site records your email address. Subscription is double opt-in: nothing is sent until you confirm from your inbox, and every letter carries an unsubscribe link.
  • First-visit attribution. A single cookie records how you first arrived (for example, a search engine or a link) and the page you landed on. It contains no personal details and is used only to understand which pages bring readers here.
  • Hosting logs. The site runs on Vercel, which keeps standard server logs (IP address, browser type, pages requested) for security and reliability.

What is not done

No advertising trackers. No sale, rental, or sharing of your information for marketing. No analytics profiles. The information you submit is used to respond to you and for nothing else.

Who processes it

Email delivery and subscriber records are processed by Resend, the site's email service provider. Form submissions are stored with the site's hosting provider, Vercel. Both act only on this site's instructions.

Your choices

Unsubscribe from The Oaktree Letter at any time using the link in any letter. To have your submitted information corrected or deleted, email wesley@oaktree-reserve.com and it is handled directly.

A note on confidentiality

Submitting a form on this site does not create an attorney-client relationship, and information sent before an engagement is confirmed is not protected by attorney-client privilege. Share a plain description of your situation, not account numbers or document contents.
