An estate plan can become incomplete when a trust was never funded, ownership and beneficiary details are outdated, or a move to Florida changes what should be reviewed. Documents may exist while assets remain titled outside the intended structure.

The Legacy Protection Plan is designed for Florida-connected households that need a new plan, an update after a move or life change, or help completing the funding work behind an existing plan. Legal recommendations depend on the household's facts and the scope of an attorney engagement.

Tell us enough to assess waitlist fit. Six items about titles, beneficiaries, and documents come first. What follows is a restatement of your answers, then a request for a fit call. Do not submit Social Security numbers, account numbers, login credentials, full asset schedules, or other sensitive documents.

  2. Item 02Have the assets you meant to put in a trust actually been retitled into the trust's name?
  3. Item 03Is any Florida real property you own titled in the name of a trust?
  4. Item 04Have retirement-account and life-insurance beneficiaries been updated after marriage, divorce, death, a move, or a sale?
  5. Item 05Do you have a pour-over will that goes with the trust?
  6. Item 06As far as you know, do the names on your titles and the names in your documents match?
